At Gloria James-Civetta & Co, we understand that the divorce process is both difficult & complex. It is a time in which all parties involved experience high emotional distress and anxiety levels.

All our lawyers are trained mediators, as we believe that separating couples who are able to pursue this route can greatly benefit and save costs.

Mediation is a cost-effective way to navigate divorce using a neutral third party mediator who will facilitate negotiations between couples who are having difficulties in coming to agreement on one or more issues.

As trained Family Law Mediators, we can act as neutral mediators in your divorce

The Mediation Process

The mediation process usually consists between two to four sessions. These sessions take around two hours but could last up to three, depending on circumstances. If it looks like parties are near to resolution, they may wish to extend a session to wrap up proceedings.

Divorcing couples are in charge of how long the mediation process will take and the number of sessions that will be required to resolve the issues at hand.

Our family divorce practitioners can help you resolve the issues arising from your impending divorce in regards to child custody& visitation, spousal support and other family law matters.
