1) Qualification

3) Fee

While most lawyers would not charge you for the first consultation, you will be charged for further meetings. This is why it is better to ask lawyers about their fee to asses if you can afford their services or not.
                                                                                

4) Professionalism

As a client it would be very troubling for you if you hire a lawyer who does not give you enough time, or remains out of reach whenever you call him up or visit his office. Find a lawyer who is known to treat his clients with utmost professionalism as this would reduce a lot of your worries.

5) Reputation

Is the lawyer you are about to hire really worth his salt? You can find this out using the internet. These days it is very easy to find out information and reviews on lawyers and Singapore law firm. If you are planning to hire a big name lawyer, finding information will become easier.
